Connecticut Kick-off Meeting

Three Sigma and Connecticut conducted a Kick-off meeting in Hartford Connecticut on January 8th and 9th. The new Connecticut MIS system will be a transfer of the Michigan system with features added as required from Indiana, Florida, and Maryland. In addition, Connecticut will be the first state to use Three Sigma Software WIC on the Web "WOW" system with a SQL Server Database.

Summer EBT for Children

Three Sigma is working with Michigan WIC to support the Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer for Children (SEBTC) program, or Summer EBT for Children. The purpose of the program is to help families feed their children well-balanced and nutritious breakfasts and lunches during the summer months when school meals are not readily available. The SEBTC program uses a Bridge Card for electronic benefit transfer (EBT) similar to the WIC system. This year the program will service children in the Alpena/Houghton, Detroit, Grand Rapids/Kentwood and Mid-Michigan. About 41 thousand children will receive food benefits through this program this summer.

WIC Tecnology Showcase

Three Sigma presents at the Technology and Program Integrity Education & Networking Conference and Exhibits. The conference is held at the Renaissance Grand hotel located in downtown St. Louis, MO.
