08/2012 - Three Sigma Awarded – FL-WiSE system Transfer Project

Three Sigma Software was awarded a contract to transfer the Michigan MI system to the state of Florida.

08/2012 – FL-WiSE Kick-off Meeting

Three Sigma Software and Florida conducted a Kick-off meeting in Tallahassee Florida on August 13th and 14th. The new Florida MIS system will be a transfer of the Michigan system with features added as required by Florida State Law.

05/2013 – Michigan Summer EBT Program

Three Sigma Software was awarded a contract to support the the State of Michigan's Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer for Children (SEBTC) program, or Summer EBT for Children.  The purpose of the program is to help families feed their children well-balanced and nutritious breakfasts and lunches during the summer months when school meals are not readily available.  The SEBTC program uses a Bridge Card for electronic benefit transfer (EBT) similar to the WIC system.

07/01/2013 - FLWISE Pilot Started

The Florida Department of Health is proud to announce the successful launch of WIC EBT in Florida. Strong collaboration between multiple partners—the Department of Health, the Department of Children and Families, USDA/FNS, Financial Institution Service Corporation, Custom Data Processing Inc., Three Sigma Software, Inc., and WIC participating grocers—enabled WIC to transition from a paper-based check system to WIC EBT. This transition was made possible by the passage of a state law sponsored by Representative Jose Felix Diaz, District 116.

10/3/2013 – Three Sigma Awarded - MI-WIC System and Software Application Support

Three Sigma Software was awarded a contract for the continued support of the Michigan MI-WIC System. The contract valued at approximately $12M is for support and enhancements to the system over the next five years.
